At the Fond du Lac STEM Academy, our 11th and 12th grade students work in student-directed choice projects. This is part of a progression that starts in middle school with cross-curricular, multi-disciplinary projects. In 9th and 10th grade, our high school students are guided in a series of teacher-directed project scenarios before ending the year with a structured student-choice project.
Starting in the 2023-2024 school year, 11th grade students are keeping a public blog to share the process and results of their student-directed projects.
