STEM Elementary

Back in 2012, STEM Academy began as a Project-Based Learning STEM school for students in grades 3-5. It was so successful that the demand from parents to create a middle school led to the opening of grades 6-8 the following year. High school was soon to follow. 

STEM has been proud to offer educational opportunities to elementary students over the last 9 years; however, as we look ahead to the future of STEM, we have found the best place to begin a student’s journey at our school is during a more natural transition point as they enter middle school. Our goal is to ensure that students are able to develop the executive functioning skills necessary to be successful in middle and high school. STEM will slowly phase out our elementary grades over the next three years. Enrollment will continue to be open in the following grades: 

2021-22 School year: 4th through 12th Grades

2022-23 School Year: 5th through 12th Grades

Beginning in the 2023-24 school year, STEM will move forward as a Middle and High School program.
